Built behind the chair
I built Ripplebox because I needed it myself
I've spent 42 years in the hair industry. When I opened Linea Lilydale Hairdressing in Melbourne in 2004, we started with two staff. By 2007 we had ten, and nearly every new client came from someone who already loved us. Word of mouth built that salon.
Years later I opened Foli Sim, my scalp micropigmentation studio, and did what everyone tells you to do: paid for ads. At times we were spending up to $30,000 a month, and every booked treatment was costing us 17.6% of its price just to win the client.
I knew my happiest clients were my best marketing. What I didn't have was an easy way to thank them, track who sent who, and keep it going without spreadsheets. So I built one.
With Ripplebox, our cost per booked treatment dropped from 17.6% to 7.5%. Now I want every independent salon, studio and artist in Australia to have the same tool.

How much does Ripplebox cost?
Your first 30 days are free with code TRIALBOX. After that it's $50 AUD per month. There's no lock-in contract, so you can cancel anytime.
What happens when my free trial ends?
Billing commences at the end of the free trial. You can cancel before then and you won't be charged.
Do my clients need to download an app?
Yes. Your clients can download Ripplebox for free from the app stores or you can send them the link from the app. Clients get a personal referral link or code they can send to friends with one tap by text, messaging apps or social media.
What kind of rewards can I offer?
Whatever suits your business. Popular choices are a discount on a service, a free product, or a gift card. You set the reward for the person who refers and for the new client.
Can I use it for more than referrals?
Yes. You can create codes for new clients, training models and VIP events, and reward clients who keep coming back.
Does it work with my booking system?
This is a new feature currently under development along with integration with your POS.
